Q&A with Maria Souliou

We have admired Maria Souliou for a long time for her aesthetics and the importance she gives to each project separately. She always impresses us with her professionalism and creativity.

We talked with Maria Souliou about today's trends in the design and furnishing of business premises.  

What characteristics should a successful interior designer have when asked to design a space?

A successful Interior designer should approach each project in a unique way and harmoniously combine volumes, materials, colors, and patterns highlighting the space he designs.

To respect the residential environment in which the assigned project is included.

Finally, in my opinion, a successful interior designer should definitely know how to listen. His client and his partners are involved in a project.

What do you think about the importance of rendering in today's interior design?

The 3D visualization and rendering in interior design is an important tool for the designer to be able to communicate both with his client and with the others involved in a project (contractors, construction crews, material supply companies)

Through the image produced by the render, the central idea of the designer is fully understood. So changes or improvements can be easily made and the final result can be checked.

What project has given you the most satisfaction to date?

The project that has given me the most satisfaction to date is the Minos beach art hotel.

What motivates you when you take on a project?

To overcome myself.
